Globalink Agency aims to work in partnership with service users and their family or friends to provide care of the highest quality, promoting independence within the framework of the essential values of daily living.

 

We are able to provide care staff to offer personal, domestic, social, nutritional and financial care services to our service user bands and facilitate choice of care for all our service users so that they can achieve their maximum potential.

 

The way Globalink provide and organize care should enable all service users at all times, to feel valued as individuals, be involved in all aspects relating to their care and attain their own objectives. Within this process and overall service delivery, we will ensure that the Service User’s rights are observed. These rights may be summarized as follows:

SERVICE USER GROUPS

Globalink is able to offer domiciliary personal and support care services and aim to keep its staff turnover exceptionally low through training and development and adequate condition of employment so as to guarantee continuity of care to the following groups of service users:

1.  Older people with or without Dementia

2.  Adult or young people with learning, mental and physical

      disabilities

3.  Adult or young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder

4.  Children and their families

 

SERVICES PROVIDED

We aim to work in partnership with service users and their family or friends to provide care of the highest quality, promoting independence within the framework of the essential values of daily living and provide care staffs to look after every need; in the comfort of a service users own home such as:

1.   Personal care including prompting to take medication

2.   Domestic care including light housework

3.   Social care including assistance with making appointments

4.   Nutritional care including menu planning

5.   Administrative / Regulatory care including Care Plan reviews

       and interagency liaison

6.   Financial care including budget planning

7.   Family contact supervision and escort

8.   Supported lodging / living

 

TYPES OF CARE PACKAGES

Our packages are individually tailored to needs and preferences of service users and before we provide services, we ensure that a thorough assessment is conducted so that the care and support provided have the flexibility to respond to changing needs or requirement and re-assessed as frequently as necessary and our attendance hours ranges from ½ hour to 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

SERVICE USER “CHARTER OF RIGHTS”

Globalink Agency care in the community Services wishes to state clearly its obligations and intent with regard to its service to all users that it will:

 

• Encourage Service Users to become active in the provision of services to be delivered

 

• Assures Service Users of confidentiality in all the provision of services delivered

 

• Advises and assists Service Users to access their record as required by Data Protection Act

 

• Consult with Service Users and their carers or advocates in relation to care issues

  

• Encourages the security of personal possessions and money belonging to Service Users

 

• Guarantees to respond quickly to any expressions of dissatisfaction of service quality or incompatibility of support worker/s or lack of their consistencies
